It’s a sad day in Berlin today. Knut, the most famous and loved polar bear in the world, was found dead around 3pm today. Now I have been a huge fan of Knut since 2007 and had the pleasure of visiting him in summer 2008. The cause of death is not yet known but there is the idea that he may have drowned. They will be carrying out a necropsy on his body on Monday to shine light on the matter. All I can say is RIP Knut. You warmed the hearts of millions, a true legend among animals. You will never be forgotten.
